District Bushcraft Day 2018

On Saturday the 17th of March the Cubs of 1st Park Street Wolf Cub Pack took part in the district "Bushcraft Day", which was held at Lee's Wood Campsite.

Lucas M, Imogen H, Amy G, Jack W, Kobi D and Will B took part in the many activities on offer including "shelter building", "rope making", "cooking on fires", "fire lighting" and "camp gadgets" assisted by Akela (Davryn F) and Riki-Tiki (Sally M). The day was made all the more special by the snow, which fell persistently during the day and made the shelter building exercise all the more worthwhile.

The Cubs were able to complete their "Pioneering" badge and also work towards some of their other badge work.

All Cubs had a great day, and received a commemorative badge to remind them of their experience.
