Derek Turner Competition Entry

On 3rd December five Scouts from Ver pack, Harrison H, Megan M, Cooper H,Benjamin M and Finley C took part in the annual Derek Turner night hike competition. Scout troops groups from across the county also took part, where 1st Park Street came 10th.

A great Derek Turner competition. Well done to all the teams and many thanks from me to the leaders and Explorers who made it possible. The 4th, 18th and Sandridge Troops took the top positions, however the teams that were new to the competition need to be especially congratulated. Full results and scores will be published soon. We have a record number of teams from all the Scout troops in the district taking part in the Derek Turner competition this weekend which is great.
