Beavers help tree-planting effort

A group of Beaver Scouts from Thumper Colony helped to plant around 200 new trees at Heartwood Forest on Sunday 16th November.

The Seven young people - Beaver Scouts Scarlett Clegg, Daniel Holliss, Conor Toms-Kelly, Sophie and Matthew Occleshaw, Dominic Smith and Cub Scout Ellie Holliss - picked up their spades to participate in the conservation effort organised by the Woodland Trust at the recently established forest in Sandridge.

The activity contributes towards their Global Challenge and Environmental Partnership awards.
