5 Years and counting

Congratulations goes to Claire Clegg, assistant scout leader within Colne Scout troop, who was presented with a 5 year service award in recognition of her dedication to the group and the Scouting movement by the group's GSL - Christopher Holliss at this week’s scout meeting. Claire became a leader of thumpers beavers colony back in 2013 when her daughter joined the group, moving on to Wolf cub pack following her daughter progression through the section ending up with Colne scout troop.

Claire has been a valued, dedicated and very caring leader, organising and overseeing countless meetings and activities for the benefit of all the children within her care. The GSL while presenting the award stated what a delight it is to present Claire with this award and that he must convay everyones thanks on behalf of 1st Park Street and all the children who have benefited, from the time she has devoted to her leadership role.
