A backwoods feast! 8 July 2016


Wolf pack cubs enjoyed a warm, sunny afternoon of backwoods cooking at Well End, just in time for camping season! Not content with just one meal, the ambitious Wolf cubs led by their very organised and well equipped leaders, attempted a three course meal! A starter of bannock bread was followed by chicken stew, and finished up nicely with chocolate smores. All meals were prepared and cooked over an open fire by the cubs, down to chopping their vegetables, wrapping their dough carefully around their skewers and getting the marshmallows just right before smooshing them between two chocolate digestives! A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon proving just how good food cooked over fire and enjoyed in the great outdoors can taste.
