Scouts take on PAW 2016

11 members from the group's two scout troops took part in PAW (Patrol Activity Weekend) over the bank holiday weekend 29th April until 2nd May.

PAW is designed to give the young people from both the Scout and Guide sections the chance to camp as patrols, with some supervision and support from a team of experienced sub-camp leaders. The scouts participated in a wide range of activities and skills while also cooking and cleaning for themselves. The patrol activity challenge experience also forms part of the weekend, where certain activities enabled the scouts to earn a zone wristband for participation in specific activities.

Although the weather during the days were nice there were a few cold spells at night during the camp which didn't cool the mood of the scouts. Well done to everyone who took part.
