Your local Scout group need you!

We are in urgent need of volunteer leaders to help run our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts groups. As you know all leaders take on a voluntary role to help run our ever growing and successful scouting group. We are fortunate to boast a successful group offering a wide range of exciting and interesting activities for the benefit of all our members. However this is only possible thanks to the leaders who run the groups, and with a number of leaders moving on in recent months we are at a point where without new leaders coming on board we may be unable to keep groups open. Most urgently we require leaders for Conkers – Beavers pack, and Wolf – cubs and scouts pack.

Being a scout leader isn’t just beneficial for the children, it is a rewarding, motivating and enjoyable experience. As well as providing you with quality time with your child, you will gain a wealth of experience, learn new skills, meet interesting new people and have fun!

Please consider taking up the 4 week volunteering challenge, as promoted by Scouting supporter Bear Grylls (see poster attached), and who knows by Week 4 you may well be hooked!
