Thumper Beavers have a fun day!

Ten Beaver Scouts from our Thumper colony enjoyed loads of new and fun activities at the County Beaver Funday at Tolmers activity centre on Saturday 12 July.

They enjoyed shooting activities, with toy crossbows and Nerf guns, pedal cars, gladiator fighting, bungee running and an inflatable obstacle course and slide. The day had a pirate theme and the Beavers made pirate outfits and watched a live outdoor performance of Treasure Island whilst eating lunch.

Our group joined around 700 Beaver Scouts and 300 adults from across the county including the new County Beaver Leader for Hertfordshire Hazel Beadle and new County Commissioner Liz Walker.
