Three new leaders invested to 1st Park Street

As our Scout Group continues to grow and flourish we are delighted to welcome another three new leaders to 1st Park Street. Caroline Gregory, known as Shere Khan to the Birchwood cub pack, was invested as an Assistant Cub Leader on Monday 10 March by our Group Scout Leader (GSL) Niki Dunn. She joins Lorraine and Grant Bullock who were invested to Thumper beaver colony as new Beaver Scout Leader and Assistant Beaver Scout Leader respectively. Niki said, "I am so pleased to be able to welcome new leaders into the group. It is only thanks to volunteers like Caroline, Lorraine and Grant that we can provide so many great opportunities for our young people." Caroline has been volunteering with the Birchwood pack since September and Lorraine and Grant have been with the group since January. They have all completed the necessary training to become invested into Scouting. At their investitures, the new leaders made their Promises in front of the GSL and the young people of their section, and were presented with the distinctive black and white group scarf.
