1st Park Street Scouts take to the stage

Three Scouts from 1st Park Street will take to the stage this week as part of the renowned St Albans Gang Show.

The annual event, at The Alban Arena, features 120 young people from Scout and Guide groups across St Albans, including Beth, Chloe, Lauren and Josef from 1st Park Street Scouts. The show, which is always a closely guarded secret, features song, dance and comedy sketches, and promises to be a fun and uplifting performance.

It's is Josef's first ever Gang Show, who will be 12 on the last day of the production. He said he was excited but nervous about the show:

"Being in the show has been great. I've made a lot of friends, had a lot of fun and learned a lot of stuff."

The St Albans Gang Show 2013 will play to about 4,000 people between Wednesday 13th to Saturday 16th February at 7.30pm (Saturday matinee at 2.30pm).
